Rockport Area Harbors & Marinas
Cove Harbor - Situated along Highway 35, Cove Harbor provides immediate access to the Intercoastal Canal (ICW) and a convenient locale to experience Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, the Gulf of Mexico, and Redfish Bay. Cove Harbor is a full-service marina featuring 470-plus drystack boat storage facilities and 180-plus wetslips. Non-Ethanol gasoline and diesel fuel are available onsite, and a marketplace and deli offers prepared foods, beer, wine, snacks, refreshments, and fishing and boating supplies and accessories. A new 5,000 square-foot marina-side event center and RV park and clubhouse are coming soon.
Fulton Harbor - Fulton Harbor is located in downtown Fulton, Texas. Historically, Fulton Harbor has been a commercial fishing boat harbor, but in recent years it has become more and more popular as a recreational boat harbor. Two bait stands are available at Fulton Harbor. In addition, several restaurants and public restrooms are all within walking distance. A public fishing pier is also situated at an adjacent park.
Rockport Harbor - Offering eight boat slips, Rockport Harbor is a charming harbor complete with a historic lighthouse. Public restroom, private shower, and laundry facilities are all onsite. Taxi service available. You can eaily walk to numerous restaurants and attractions, including the Aquarium at Rockport Harbor and Maritime Museum.
Whooping Crane & Coastal Birding Tour
| Texas Boat Safari hosts the area`s best-reputed birding tour, particularly for viewing whooping cranes. Nearly 400 coastal bird species have been identified along the Texas Coastal Bend, though, so you`re sure to see much more. Bay Education Center
| Their usual hours are from 1 - 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday, but check before you visit. Admission is free and open to the public to enjoy interactive displays and learn about the estuaries. Fulton Fishing Pier
| The Fulton Fishing Pier is home to a wide variety of fish and is a great spot for you to go fishing. One of the best ways to experience the Fulton Pier is to fish from it at night when the water lights up with green lights that attract fish. Anglers catch a variety of fish, from redfish and speckled trout to large drum. While nighttime has a special appeal, you can fish from the pier during the daytime and have spectacular views of the bay and harbor.
